Course Content

  • Module 1: Introduction to Six Sigma - Participants will learn about the history of the quality movement and just what is this thing we call Six Sigma
  • Module 2: Six Sigma Methodology and Toolbox - Participants are walked through the six sigma problem solving process and the various tools available to assist in the process. Includes hands on exercises involving tools such as Value Stream Maps and Process Maps.
  • Module 3: Applied Six Sigma to HR Management - Utilizing the Human Resource Certification Institute's Body of Knowledge, the participants will learn about six Sigma projects that can be implemented in the HR space. Participants will also analyze case studies of organizations which have successfully utilized the methodology within HR.
  • Module 4: Bringing it Altogether - A look at how to implement the six sigma philosophy into your organization to achieve the improvement efforts that you see to utilize to improve the overall organization.
  • Final Project - Participants will be asked to design a six sigma related project based on the DMAIC process and the utilization of tools utilized in the first two days of the course.
