Accept failure as it is the key to success. No shows you what doesn’t work
Manager’s do it. Spouses do it. Parents do it. Teacher’s do it.They all have a tendency to criticize in one way or another mistakes. But they are missing the point. We learn from our mistakes. We find the ways that things do not work when we make a mistakes.
Think about your science classes when you were conducting experiments. You tried a particular step and the results did not end up where you wanted them to go so you tried something else. Think about the sport you played. You tried a play and you did not get the results you were expecting , so you tried a different play.
In business we need to begin to do the same thing. Failure is a necessary step on the road to success. Every time you try something to meet the needs of the client you repeat the failed play, or the error in a math calculation or science experiment. It shows us the road to eliminating what does not work and reaching the goal of continuous process improvement.
