Course Description: | We are in a VUCA World where our organizations are categorized by volatility, uncertainty, chaos and ambiguity actions and events. The events require a new type of corporate culture and workplace environment. It means what you have a responsibility to learn and speak the language of business. You have the responsibility to learn that language so you can communicate with management and your customers in their space rather than yours. This new view of the HR environment will take you through the steps of introducing the TLS Continuum methodology to the continuous process improvement efforts within both Human Capital Management and the organization. One of the few fully accredited (by the Council for Sox Sigma Certification) Six Sigma Yellow belt courses developed and presented by an HR professional. This course takes you from being a transactional Human Capital Management professional to a strategic one, being fully fluent in the language of business and how to use that new knowledge to resolve organizational problems. During the seminar, you will be asked to complete certain task along the way. Further as part of the seminar content you are asked to bring a problem or issue from your HR function and create a full six sigma project centered around that issue. The Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification will be issued upon the completion of all the assigned tasks and the final project packet. You will also be expected to complete the two exams – one in the beginning and one at the end. The final exam must have a pass rate of at least 70%. Each participant will be expected to develop a process improvement project based on an HR issue from their place of employment. |
